Nostradamus often included actual names in his prophecies. In this amazing prophecy, he includes the name of the inventor of the hot-air balloon, Joseph Montgolfier. The hot-air balloon was one of the great inventions of its time and was originally used as a military device to spy on enemy movements on the field of battle. During the Battle of Fleurus in 1794, Montgolfier used his new invention and a telescope to spy on enemy forces from the air. Instructions were then relayed by megaphone to runners on the ground, resulting in a great victory for the French:

During the Batttle of Fleurus on June 29, 1794, Montgolfier's new invention proved useful for tracking enemy movements on the battlefield. Movements of enemy troops on the battlefield were relayed by megaphone to soldiers on the ground and soon led to a victory for the French. The French army was then able to loot nearby Catholic Churches and gain the funds necessary to continue Napoleon's wars. The French Revolution was carried out by socialists desiring the overthrow of the papacy in Rome. Pope Pius VI was the pope who held the papacy at this time:
So far, scientists have been unable to explain how Nostradamus was able to accomplish this amazing feat of prophecy over 200 years before the actual event took place.
