Was the Second World War in prophecy?
A Catholic prophecy.
In the year 1917 an unusual event occurred in Portugal that would affect the lives of the world's Catholics for over a century. In the tiny town of Fatima, Portugal three young shepherd children would witness the appearance of an angel who told them about events set to happen in the future. They were told that the war (WWI) would soon be over, but because people were not obeying God's laws, another war would occur in the future (WWII) that would deliver God's punishments upon all those who had offended Him.
"The war (WWI) is going to end soon, but if people do not cease offending God, a worse war will break out under the pontificate of Pius XI. When you see a night illuminated by an unknown light (see below), know that this is the great sign given by God that he's about to punish the world for its crimes by means of war, famine and persecutions of the Church and the holy father."
The Angel of Fatima - 1917
On 1/25/1938 a great light appeared in the sky over Europe that frightened many people who thought the world might be ending. Then, exactly one year later on 1/25/1939, Germany's new messiah, Adolf Hitler, issued his Jewish Policy Edict to German embassies all around the world, and exactly as the angel had said, the Second World War was officially begun. In 1940, Hitler signed the Tripartite Treaty with Japan, allying himself with another false diety to carry out God's plan to "punish the world for its crimes by means of war".
The 1917 Fatima visions continued on the 13th of each month, and by October, over 50,000 people had gathered at Fatima. A total of three Fatima visions were received. The first Fatima prophecy predicted the coming of another world war, and the second Fatima prophecy predicted the conversion of Russia from Communism. A third prophecy could not be released to the world's Catholics until the year 1960.
The site of the Fatima visions is visited by the popes of Rome on a regular basis, and its visions have proven to be accurate.
