The significance of anniversaries.
Public greens in cities.
DECEPTION #1:
There was no warning of the October 7th, 2023 HAMAS attack on Israel.
BUT THE TRUTH IS:
1. The attack occurred on the 50th ANNIVERSARY (Oct. 7th) of the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
2. The Benghazi attack occurred on the ANNIVERSARY (Sept. 11th) of the 2001 WTC attack.
3. The RFK assassination occurred on the ANNIVERSARY (June 5th) of the 1967 Six Day War.
4. The Pentagon attack occurred on the 60th ANNIVERSARY (Sept. 11th) of it's 1941 groundbreaking.
Wake up world! Arabs always like to schedule their attacks on ANNIVERSARIES!
DECEPTION #2:
There was no way to successfully save California's cities from being destroyed by fire.
BUT THE TRUTH IS:
1. There were no "fire breaks" dividing sections of urban areas to allow firefighters to keep the flames from spreading to adjacent areas.
2. There was no program in place to perform controlled burns in fire prone areas to remove low brush and ground debris that could fuel future fires.
3. When flames first entered urban areas, firefighters didn't use explosives to blow up homes already doomed for destruction, in order to create "fire breaks," and thus stop the fire from spreading further.
NOTE: In 1666 A.D. when it became clear that the Great Fire of London was about to consume the entire city, firefighters used gunpowder to blow up rows of buildings that were in the path of the fire and doomed to be destroyed, and thus created "fire breaks" that stopped the fire from spreading any further. It seems that the people in 1666 had more common sense than people today (and they didn't have modern high pressure hoses and air tankers dropping water from the sky). We can only hope that when California's cities are eventually rebuilt, someone will have the common sense to include wide fire breaks, in the form of public greens, in their design to stop future wildfires from burning California's cities to the ground again.
