The much feared Battle of Armageddon has haunted mankind for many centuries, but when will this historic battle take place?  The Battle of Armageddon cannot take place until all the petty dictators and kings of the Middle East have been removed from power and the Grand Ayatollah is able to resurrect his Sunni Ottoman army to once again pursue his battle against Christianity.  The sin of Abraham with his wife's maid, Hagar, will then be avenged by God.  The Bible tells us that the sons of Isaac and the sons of Ishmael must eventually meet in battle.

After the Battle of Lepanto in 1571 the Ottoman empire fell from power and never again returned to dominance.  But on the Sunday after 9/11, President George Bush acknowledged the return of the Crusades with the following words, "And the American people are beginning to understand this "CRUSADE," this war on terrorism, is going to take a while."

It is an unfortunate fact that since 2006 the United States government has been systematically removing all the petty dictators and kings from Middle Eastern nations, thus creating a political void destined to be filled by the "Grand Iyatollah" who will once again be able to lead his loyal Sunni followers against the city of Rome and the forces Christianity.  It seems incredible that Western government leaders would actually resurrect the enemies of Christianity to their former position of power on the world scene.  Some U.S. Congressmen have been questioning whether the U.S. is unknowingly aiding in the resurrection of the old Ottoman Islamic empire.
